Biography
Ann is an American artist, who developed a love for art and for travel through her Grandmother’s influence. When she began painting later in life, she saw the opportunity to combine both. She grew up in the west but has lived most of her adult life in Tennessee. Travel has remained a focus. Her journey began in watercolor but soon progressed to oil. She has been fortunate to study with several notable contemporary artists. It is her love of the surrounding landscape, grand views, and the disappearing vistas that prompt her vision. She is particularly interested in harmonious combinations of color and subtleness of light. Each painting is a recognition of thankfulness for the incredible beauty our God has graciously bestowed upon us.
