Biography
Blake Everflow-known simply as Everflow-is a contemporary artist, abstract storyteller, and space alchemist whose work transforms lived experience into color, character, and emotion.
Born in a small Ohio town, Everflow learned early what it meant to stand apart. Shortly after graduating, he ventured west to Los Angeles, where music, culture, and people from vastly different worlds expanded his understanding of identity and human nature. Before paint became his primary language, there was music-teaching him to listen beneath the surface, feel what could not be spoken, and recognize the rhythm within everything.
His path was not polished. It was forged through reinvention, adversity, survival, fatherhood, and the relentless search for something true. Moving through many cultures and layers of life, Everflow became a witness to the hidden stories people carry. Those experiences now live within his expressive faces, fractured forms, written language, vivid color, and deeply textured surfaces.
Each painting reveals a chapter in the architecture of becoming-the people we become to survive, the identities we outgrow, and the beauty waiting beneath the chaos. His work possesses both grit and refinement: raw enough to remain human, yet commanding enough to transform an entire space.
Today, Everflow is the founder of Everflow Paint & Design and Everflow Gallery in Richmond, Virginia. Through his evolving body of work, he is creating more than a collection. He is building a living legacy-one canvas, one room, and one story at a time.
