Biography
My interest in art began when I enrolled in painting and design classes at California State University, Northridge, California, while obtaining a BA in Psychology. I thought painting would be a welcome addition to my other studies and little did I realize that my initial efforts would turn into almost fifty years of passion exploration and commitment to my craft.
I continued my art education here in Ventura County and started on a journey of trying different styles, media, and subjects that has not ceased. Many times I have thought to myself that I have arrived at "My Style" but I now know that for me change plays a paramount part in my work. I must allow myself the liberty of constantly moving in new directions.
Currently I am outside painting the beautiful Ventura County scene with my fellow plein air painters or in my studio working out the latest abstract ideas and "Thoughts and Images" that are constantly running through my mind.
