Biography
Born into a family that homesteaded on the Rocky Mountain Front, west of Dupuyer, Montana, I grew up on a farm/ranch caring for cattle and other animals. My horse was my best friend. I'm a self taught artist my work has won awards. After years of painting realistically, I now paint in a style that comes straight from my heart, using language that represents what I love most - the prairie, the wildlife, the horses, and the weather. My husband and I live near Vaughn, Montana and we're retired. He's a poet and writes beautiful poetry, it's wonderful being married to someone who's artistic and understands the need to create. I'm a member of Western Heritage Artists, and Cowgirl Artists of America. My work can be seen at Equis Art Gallery, Red Hook, New York-Choteau Arts in Choteau, Montana and Paris Gibson Museum, Great Falls, Montana.
