Biography
My first memory of art was when I was about 5. For some reason my parents had set up three easels in the back yard, for me and my two brothers. Why we were painting I don't know. Family oral history says that I'd won a state wide are contest, for my age group.
After that I received my first camera. Since then cameras have been a big part of my life.
That was all the art I had until high school where I discovered pottery. I love the smell of fresh clay in the morning. But that too lasted only until the end of college.
For the first few working years, my family and I would go down to the library every Saturday and check out books. My books were usually art books. Then after skimming through them, they would go back to the library.
My second love, in art, came with ArtRage. This allowed me to work on the computer, no need for paper and pencil.
Now I spend my time with photography, watercolor, ArtRage and Corel PaintCan.
All paintings can be purchased in greeting card size, 4 1/4 x 5 1/5; card and envelope. Price is $3.00 per card, plus $1.50 postage.
