Biography
Retired from the corporate world, Jennifer has turned her creative attention towards painting and mixed media artwork. Primarily utilizing acrylic paint and her vast collection of vintage ephemera, she enjoys exploring rich surfaces and combining media that invites the viewer to enjoy her work from a distance as well as the details up-close through her many layers.
"I love the softer muted tones I find in vintage materials of the past and try to incorporate that feeling into my artwork. I enjoy contrasting textures and colors. I'm not trying to make statements necessarily in my art, but I hope the viewer resonates with something within it."
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology and became an award-winning graphic designer for more than twenty years.
Jennifer is honored to be an exhibiting member of the Buffalo Society of Artists.
She is also an active member of the Western New York Artists Group currently serving on its Board of Directors.
