Biography
John Hampshire was born in Chicago, IL in 1971. He earned a B.S. in Art from Skidmore College in 1994 and MFA from SUNY Albany in 1997. He is currently a Professor of Fine Art at SUNY Adirondack. Solo exhibitions include locations such as The Show Walls at 1133 Avenue of the Americas in NYC, the State College of Florida in Bradenton, The Hunter Gallery in Middleton, RI, McDaniel College in MD, and the Phoenix Gallery in NYC. He lives and maintains a studio in the former Church of the Holy Trinity in Troy, NY.
