Biography
My name is Kadee McGill, a wildlife and outdoor sporting artist based in South Carolina. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and what began with a pencil in childhood has grown into a lifelong passion for creating artwork that celebrates the natural world.
Animals have always been my greatest inspiration. Whether it’s the quiet focus of a hunting dog, the strength of a whitetail buck, or the watchful eyes of a bird in the marsh, I’m drawn to the moments that reveal both the power and the grace of wildlife. My goal isn’t simply to paint what an animal looks like-it’s to capture what it feels like to encounter it.
Much of my work is inspired by my own experiences outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature have taught me to appreciate the stillness that often goes unnoticed. Those moments have become the foundation of my new and ongoing collection, The Quiet Places, a series dedicated to preserving the peaceful memories found in the outdoors before they fade.
Creating commissioned artwork has also become one of the most meaningful parts of my career. Whether I’m painting a beloved hunting companion, a cherished family pet, or a portrait that honors someone special, I understand that these pieces carry stories far beyond the canvas. Knowing my artwork can preserve those memories for generations is both a privilege and a responsibility that I never take lightly.
In addition to my fine art, I’ve had the opportunity to create Timbergill Outdoors, a brand that features my artwork on apparel and outdoor-inspired products for people who share a love of hunting, fishing, and life outside.
Above all, I hope my paintings remind people to slow down and appreciate the beauty that’s always been there-the quiet mornings, loyal dogs, wild places, and unforgettable moments that shape our lives.
Art is more than what we see. It’s the memories we choose to keep.
