Biography
Kathy was born in rural Connecticut. She is a self-taught award-winning international artist. Her work shows her individuality and personal voice. Her personal journey is finding break through by taking risks, and pushing boundaries. Kathy's contemporary abstract paintings are heavily layered and textured creating an experience for the viewer. Her process is unplanned, working intuitively she uses many non traditional tools, collage and distressing the painting to make her art. Kathy works in watercolor, acrylics and printmaking.
Kathy's inspiration comes from many sources, nature, observation of the world, books and even films.
Kathy currently lives in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia
