Biography
Kirsten Savage received her BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and has been painting professionally for over 20 years. As an avid world traveler and experienced mountaineer, she spends her time seeking out beautiful spaces that embody peace and solitude, and creates narrative oil paintings about contemplation and connection.
Kirsten Savage was recently chosen as the new Presidential Portrait Artist for the Colorado State Capitol Building. She is a Signature Member of Oil Painters of America and in the Portrait Society of America. Her paintings are in private and corporate collections around the world.
