Biography
Lisa Purrington uses painting as a non-verbal expression of life stories. Born and raised in Madagascar, Lisa brings the rich colors of the tropics and her unique life experience to her art. As a creative person all her life, art and painting was a natural progression. Recognizing that painting allowed her to express so much more than words is what inspires her.
Lisa is a self-taught abstract artist based in Dallas, Texas. She has exhibited in local spaces and participated in the Irving Art Members Exhibit receiving an Honorable Mention for her painting, Waiting for an Answer.
