Hello and welcome to my world. I’m a contemporary artist striving to create art that’s unique and exceptional.
I am a self-taught artist using unconventional materials to create highly original and visually impactful paintings.
I use a fresh approach to materials and an intuitive touch to create my art. My paintings live in the space between raw and delicate, exquisite and crude-where beauty and destruction collide.
In my asphalt emulsion paintings, I use road paving materials to bring exterior world elements into the interior world of the collector. Each painting has unique texture and surface and delivers a truly distinctive visual impact.
Artist Statement:
Color, texture and expressive mark making lie at the heart of my process-based approach. I strive to create paintings that deliver a strong visual impact, using a wide variety of styles, methods and materials.
I execute each painting with energy and passion, using both conventional and unconventional materials and deploying unique methods to create new effects and outcomes. My paintings can bring a sense of calm, or a spark of energy-an escape from the hectic or a catalyst for action.
The more I can achieve a distinctive visual impact, the more valuable my artworks will be for owners and, in the long-term, for those owners as art collectors.
