Biography
Born in 1994, Mitchell McClosky’s work highlights his connection to nature and his appreciation for the miracle of life. From a young age, he has been captivated by the wonders of the wild and the beauty of natural places. Fueled by his love for learning, he has taken on positions that align with his interests, such as working as an art handler at an auction house and, more recently, as a wildlife guide in the breathtaking Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
Mitchell nurtures his love for the outdoors by capturing the essence of wildlife and breathtaking landscapes through field sketches and photography expeditions. These experiences form the foundation for his oil paintings, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in scenes that reflect his personal stories in nature and beautifully showcase the wonders of God’s creation.
Living in Auburn, WA, Mitchell pursues his passion as a full-time wildlife artist. He began showcasing his work in the summer of 2022 and has embraced exciting opportunities to participate in various shows throughout the Northwest. His exceptional talent has garnered appreciation from many, resonating with art lovers locally and beyond.
