Biography
My still life paintings are explorations in the visual language of color, form, and light. I find that these simple arrangements of everyday objects perfectly facilitate the exploration of color relationships and the effect of light and reflected light as it casts across simple forms. My paintings are inspired by real life but they are not copies of real life as a photograph would be.
