Biography
I was born and raised in India, and after my undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering, I moved to the United States for my Masters in Finance. In all those years, painting had been my constant companion through the highs and lows. And my search for true fulfillment led to me to become a full-time artist in 2018.
Primarily painting in oils, I concentrated on portraits and figurative painting. Since becoming a mother in January 2019, the little human took center-stage and creating became even more important as I fought to have my own identity. I now paint with intention and am interested in telling a story with each painting. Stories of strength, courage, love and vulnerability!
Currently a student with Juliette Aristides in the Aristides Atelier, my oil painting education is also the result of extensive workshops with artists - Alyssa Monks, Nicolas Uribe, Zoey Frank, etc. I am most influenced and inspired by my mentor and teacher Mia Bergeron at Townsend Atelier in Chattanooga, TN. I live and work out of my home studio in Alpharetta, Georgia
