Biography
Robyn Shortt is a fine art nature photographer who lives and works in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She creates digital artworks whose subject is nature and her impressions of nature. With a background in biology and art she has spent most of her life outdoors and believes that connecting to the natural world is essential to our well-being. Using a variety of photographic approaches, Robyn’s work interprets these features in a way that expresses our fundamental connections to the natural world.
Robyn is an accredited member of Professional Photographers of Canada and a juried member of Craft NB. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions in Edmonton, Fredericton, and Fundy National Park, and is available online at www.robynshortt.com, in person at the Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery in Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick and at various seasonal art markets in the Fredericton area.
