Biography
Born in the mid-1980s in Katowice, Poland, I primarily use pastels to express the beauty of landscapes and still lifes. Pastels bring me a great sense of fulfillment throughout the entire painting process; their pure, vibrant colors are incredibly inviting. The main reason I paint is color and light, two sides of the same coin. Texture is also important to me, something akin to brushstrokes in traditional painting.

Tibor Nagy's industrial scenes capture something most contemporary art misses about modern landscapes. The atmospheric quality in Machine Dream makes machinery feel almost organic rather than cold and mechanical. I visited an old factory conversion space last year and the way light hit rusted metal gave off that exact vibe. Sebastian's pastel work on the Tatras snowdrifts shows solid understanding of texture over ust color application.
