Biography
My love of nature inspired me to express this feeling through art. I love experimenting with color, style and technique. I am drawn to the motions and movement of a palette knife, satiated with paint, striking a bright white canvas. Over the years I have developed several different styles of painting.
The paint tells me how it wants to be mixed and where it wants to go.
The images I create come from my imagination and time spent outdoors on long walks with my dog.
My art is ever changing and evolving like the world around us.
My current works convey the unbalance that surrounds us. There is a static charge in the air caused by extremes. This vertical excess, positive and negative energy, is tearing at the soul of the Earth. My more muted color palettes infused with bright colors represent even though we may be surrounded by ugliness at times there is still hope, beauty and goodness if we choose to see it and change.
