Biography
Applying the passion God has given me, I paint themes of the American landscape, small towns and automobiles. I work in a realistic yet loose style. Whether working in the studio or plein-air, I try to convey the essence and emotion of a place and time.
Growing up near Dayton, Ohio, I was always drawing cars and trucks, and have studied painting since high school. Since 2006, I have focused seriously on art.
A member of Oil Painters of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society and the American Impressionist Society, I have had work accepted to shows in all three groups.
In September 2023 my work was included in the Oil Painters of America Eastern Regional Exhibit at Beverly McNeil Gallery in Birmingham, Alabama.
My work was accepted into the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society’s Best of America Small Works National Juried Exhibition in May 2023 at Mary Williams Fine Arts in Boulder, Colorado.
I was a Merit Award winner at the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society’s Best of America National Juried Exhibition in September 2022 at the Wilcox Gallery in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
