Biography
I am an artist with a background in classical art education, which I began at the age of fifteen. Although I stepped away from traditional painting for many years, my sense of color and composition continued to develop through work in television advertising, where I helped create distinctive and memorable visual stories.
In 2015, I moved with my family from Ukraine to Poland, where I currently live and work. Over the years, I collaborated with various companies in the game industry, creating digital illustrations, 2D and 3D visuals, and animated content. This experience strengthened my technical skills and visual thinking, especially through extensive work with digital tablets.
In recent years, however, I felt a strong pull back to traditional painting - to real pigments, canvas, and the scent of linseed oil. I am deeply inspired by the old masters such as Diego Velázquez, Anthony van Dyck, Johannes Vermeer, Titian, as well as by contemporary artists whose work continues to redefine classical painting today.
Influenced by their legacy, I create my own paintings, searching for a personal style and visual language. My work is rooted in the tradition of the Old Masters, yet it is not an attempt to recreate historical painting. I work through the prism of contemporary realism and a deeply personal perspective. My goal is not only to refine my craft, but to create works that resonate with the viewer and invite them into a timeless dialogue between tradition and modern expression.
