Biography
I started drawing when I was a child. After rigorous basic study and training, I have been painting for more than 40 years now. He painted many realistic and abstract works, and held a personal exhibition of abstract works in Beijing in 1999 and a personal exhibition of realistic works in New York in 2018. In 2012, he served as a consultant for ACOPAL (American Alliance of Chinese Painting Artists) and co-organized the "Contemporary American Realism" exhibition with the Beijing World Art Museum. I have been passionate about art over the years and have created many types of work, from realism to complete abstraction. The consistent unifying factor in my art is my fascination with sexuality as a form of expression. There I can represent the world with actual colors and shading. My figurative work mainly deals with the human form, but I have also been experimenting with abstract forms. I find the freedom of abstraction both challenging and exciting. Creation has always been the doorway to a larger, more colorful world where there are no limits except the possibilities offered by imagination. We will recognize a strong connection to Abstract Expressionism, an expressive art that liberated itself from images. It is a subjective art whose primary study is to inspire emotions in the viewer. I believe abstract art is the purest form of expression, not bound by any rules or limitations. I can use colors, shapes, and lines to express my feelings and ideas without having to follow realistic logic or proportions. I am inspired by all kinds of things in life, and I hope that my works can resonate with the audience and let them find their own stories and emotions in my paintings. I believe art is a way of communication and a bridge between souls. I invite you to follow my creative journey and explore the mystery and charm of abstract art.
